Calypso, a cat, with her pet parent at Sploot

Stress-Free Cat Vet: Calypso’s Story

So, I’ve been taking my cat, Calypso, to Sploot for about a year now, and we both absolutely love it here.

My favorite part about Sploot is the fact that they immediately take you back into the [private] waiting rooms. And as a cat owner, that is such a relief, so that I don’t have to be sitting in the lobby around other dogs. And that probably helps both of our anxiety levels when going to the vet.

I love Sploot, and I can tell that they genuinely care about my cat, so I definitely recommend them to anybody looking for a vet in the area.

Leyna, a parvo survivor puppy, with her pet parent

Same-Day Urgent Care at Sploot Supports Parvo Survivor, Leyna

“I have a five-month-old puppy named Leyna. I have been taking her to Sploot since I first got her at about eight weeks old, and they have been lifesavers for us. Leyna is a parvo survivor, which has added a lot of health complications and stress, and their same-day urgent care has been the biggest support for us both.

Anytime that I see a health complication or something I’m stressed about, they get us in right away and give me so much reassurance in her and her recovery. I truly couldn’t recommend them enough to any of my friends and family.”

Luna, a Toy Australian Shepherd, with her pet parent

Luna Gets a Life-Changing Nutritional Consult at Sploot Vets

“This is my 4-year-old Toy Australian Shepherd named Luna. I first started taking her to Sploot when she was like six months old. At one of her yearly check-ins, they noticed that she was probably a little too heavy. They recommended, you know, switching her foods.

She does have a sensitive stomach. They recommended Hill’s Science Diet that we've stuck to. She has lost around eight pounds or so. She's looking a lot better. She can last a lot longer. She can go on longer hikes.

And then, we just continued care throughout her life there, just 'cause I really enjoy their attention to my needs and her needs, as well as their thoroughness in terms of keeping her medical records, easy scheduling, and just overall very available for either same-day appointments or emergency appointments or just regular vaccines.”

Goose, a puppy, with his first-time pet parent

Reliable Care for First-Time Pet Parent & Goose

“I got Goose here in February. He's my first pet that I've ever had, so I was obviously nervous finding a good vet, knowing that he's in good hands, being taken care of and cared for in the right way—and Sploot Vets does all of that.

Sploot is the best vet ever, and I highly recommend them for anyone who's a new pet owner or looking for a new vet. They've been able to take us in every single time we've called the day of. Everything's very convenient here, and like I said, everyone is so loving and caring for my sweet boy.

If you want your puppy to be as happy as Goose, set them over to Sploot where you'll be in great hands!“

Doomy and Gloomy, two kittens, with their pet parent

Fear Free Kitten Care Keeps Doomy & Gloomy Healthy

“Hello. My name is Veronica and I live in Chicago, Illinois. This is Doomy, and this is Gloomy. So we originally found Sploot because this one [Gloomy] was very, very sick when I adopted her. [...] When I took them there for various illnesses, the team was so professional, they greeted us, they listened to us, they felt we’re necessary—always asked if it was okay with me first.

Also, there was a lot of follow-up with them too; every step of the way, the team kept an eye on us and reached out to us when they needed to, and they were constantly looking for solutions.

We would definitely recommend Sploot in Chicago, Illinois; they were able to take us even at another clinic with the same vet. We love Sploot because they really cared about us and followed up every step of the way!”

Domino, a senior dog, with his pet parent

Accessible & Convenient Vet Care for Senior Dog, Domino

“Hi, I am Grace, and this is Domino. We live in Chicago, Illinois, and we recently started going to Sploot because with senior dogs, we needed a place that was more adaptable to our schedule and could accept us same-day.

One thing we love about Sploot is just how easy it is to book an appointment and just stay in touch with the staff. Not only do they answer super quickly, they're able to get you in same day, and you can text the staff as well.

They check in on you the next day after every appointment and make sure your dog is doing okay. Overall, just really great experience with the staff and just feels like there's really good communication with Sploot.”

"All of the employees at Sploot were very warm and welcoming. My pup was just as pleased with the service as me. Speedy and reliable. 10/10 would recommend for anyone on the market for a vet!"

Best Veterinary Clinic in the Denver metro. We switched to them and our pup Copper absolutely loves the staff and facilities. Also, the quality of care and attentiveness from staff is top notch, they really do care and do a great job. The walk-in/drop-off option has been extremely helpful as well.

I bring my dog Apollo here. So glad I made the switch from my previous vet. Never a long wait and the staff is experienced and experts at what they do so I always know my dog is in good hands.Normally Apollo hates the vet but he really likes coming here especially when they give him cheese while getting his shots!

We brought our new puppy here for his very first ever vet visit. Every staff member we interacted with was SO kind. Dr. Smith is exceptional and our little guy loves him! We are so excited about this new addition to the neighborhood.

Amazing facility, great customer service. I am new to the area and need to find a new vet for my doodle who doesn’t like going to vets. Apollo or made my dog Lulu so comfortable and made the process easy! Highly recommend will continue to go! So many locations

"I really appreciate how Dr Jake took the time to let my dog warm up to him, and even lick cheese off his hands, before jumping into the exam. Everyone involved had the dog in mind, making the experience as comfortable for her as possible".
Shari K.RiNo
My dog has terrible anxiety. Your approach to fear free vet care is wonderful. I finally feel my dog is getting great care without being harmed.

Our Yvie girl was experiencing some stomach/bowel issues and Sploot scheduled us a same day appointment. We were in and out in less than an hour, but with more thorough explanations and understanding of her gastrointestinal issues than any previous vet.

We transferred our kitty over to Sploot recently and have had an excellent experience with them so far! The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine and the space is comforting to both pets and their families. We felt right at home!

I 100% recommend you coming to this spot. I had called two hours before they closed and they were able to get me in that same night. They handled my dog with a lot of care and took care of the problem right away. Her eye was so much better the second we left the vet. Will be back for future needs!
Olivia K.Commons Park
We love Sploot and every location they open! They can always get you in for an appointment within the week and are super helpful and friendly! Highly recommended to all pet parents out there!

Journeys with Sploot Vets: Reviews & Extraordinary Stories

A veterinarian examining a dog and cat

Sploot Highlands – Denver, CO

A Life-Changing Prescription for Archie

Though vomiting and intestinal issues seem all too prevalent in dogs, Archie’s pet parent was determined to improve Archie’s gut health. Sploot’s vets quickly uncovered a canine food allergy and prescribed a few small changes that made a big difference!

“I love Sploot! They are attentive, sweet to my dog, and always have great availability whenever I need them or when issues arise. My dog, Archie, has struggled with diet issues his whole life, and while we’ve brought it up to other vets, Dr. Fox at Sploot was the first to suggest it might be a food allergy!

One prescription later, and he’s a new dog—no more vomiting and regular poops! Sploot is the best vet clinic—they even checked up on him through text and phone calls after our appointment!”

Two Labs Get All-in-One Care at Sploot

Sploot’s vet clinic has become a go-to place for comprehensive care, expert guidance, and enjoyable visits for two inquisitive and curious labs.

“We’ve been bringing both our labs to Sploot for about a year now. Every visit has been fantastic—and with our dogs eating like trash pandas and frequently getting themselves into trouble, we’ve had quite a few visits!

Booking appointments is always quick and easy, the front desk staff are friendly, and the vet techs and vets are incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure our dogs receive the best care. I ask loads of questions, and they’re always super patient and helpful. While you can request to see the same vet, we go with whoever is available because they’re all amazing.

The facilities are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed with nice touches like balls and treats (even for humans!). It’s clear that everyone at Sploot truly loves animals, and it shows in every interaction.”

Scaredy Cat No More: Thanks to Sploot’s Fear Free Vet Care

Many cat parents wonder if it’s possible for cats to come into a vet clinic without anxiety or fear. With Sploot’s Fear Free certified medical team, many cats have experienced stress-free (and even enjoyable) vet visits—at last!

“I am the epitome of a cat lady—I live for my boy. The nurses and veterinarians at Sploot are the only people I trust to treat him. My cat doesn’t panic at all about going to the vet, and I think it’s because the facility is so clean, the vets are gentle, the snacks are top-notch, and everyone tells him how handsome he is.

The team is also incredibly supportive (I tend to blank out when I hear there’s a possibility of illness), so I really appreciate the detailed email reports with notes and recommendations on what to watch for if something more serious comes up. I also love how tech-savvy Sploot is—I can text, send photos and videos of symptoms, and easily request medications or appointments without any hassle. We love Sploot!”

Aspen with her pet parents

Commons Park – Denver. CO

No Room for Error—How Pinpoint Accuracy Saved Aspen's Life

One of the most terrifying experiences happened to pet parents Sarah and Joe when Aspen displayed a worrying shift in behavior. When all the initial tests came back as ‘normal’, it became a race against time to get to the root of Aspen’s condition.

“I’ve been having to rush Aspen into Sploot’s urgent care more than 3 times in the past two days. I noticed she wasn’t being herself—she was completely lethargic and not interested at all in eating her food. I was terrified after waking up to see the house covered in her vomit, so I called Sploot Vets and they advised me to bring her in ASAP.

The Sploot team sprang into action, stabilizing her with IV fluids and anti-nausea medication—all while running tests. Their experienced vets didn't stop until they found the cause. Aspen has Addison’s Disease, a disorder affecting the adrenal glands and causes them not to produce enough hormones [...]. In severe cases, such as Aspen’s, it can cause life-threatening symptoms such as severe weakness, shock, and collapse.

I cannot recommend Sploot enough! It was the first time I’ve ever felt like my dogs were actually being taken care of. I never once felt like they were there for a paycheck, but there to actually make my dog feel better and get to the bottom of what was wrong. Safe to say not only will I be using their urgent care as needed, but we’re going to use them as our primary vet as well.”

Murray Gets a New Lease on Life

At 8 months old, Murray, an inquisitive kitten, accidentally ingested a foreign object. Surgery was the only treatment option—prompting pet parent Jenny to seek prompt emergency care and surgery in Sploot’s dedicated surgical suite.

“When Murray swallowed something he shouldn’t have, the Sploot team acted fast. They used X-rays and ultrasound to pinpoint the problem. They quickly determined surgery was necessary, as the foreign body posed a risk to Murray’s intestines. The procedure went smoothly, and the foreign body was safely removed. After surgery, they provided top-notch post-operative support—and now Murray is healthy, growing, and full of energy!”

Same-Day Surgery Saves Nova’s from Life-Threatening Complications

When Nova’s parents noticed she was lethargic, lost appetite, and had a swollen abdomen, they quickly rushed her to Sploot for emergency care. Nova was diagnosed with pyometra, a life-threatening infection that needed urgent surgery.

“My dog Nova had a severe case of pyometra and they went above and beyond to make sure my fur baby got the care she needed. From Callie to Marissa all the way to Dr. Ratchford and his team, everyone was incredibly compassionate and professional, keeping me informed every step of the way. Thanks to their expert care, Nova is now recovering and back to her happy, playful self. She was seen and had surgery the same day and now we’re home recovering. I cannot thank this place enough. A literal LIFE SAVER!!! ♥♥♥”
