What's included
Preventative vet care, under one roof.
Preventive veterinary care is the regular, proactive care your pet needs to stay healthy. Four core services, working together.
Wellness Exams
A nose-to-tail check, once or twice a year. The foundation of primary care — and the visit that catches the most before it becomes a problem.
Vaccinations
Core and lifestyle vaccines, scheduled around your pet's age and environment. We tailor what's needed — and skip what isn't.
Parasite Prevention
Year-round protection from heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites. We pick what fits your pet and your zip code.
Dental Care
Oral exams, cleanings, x-rays, and extractions. By age three, most pets need it — we make it straightforward and same-day where we can.
Why it matters
Pets do better with a vet who knows them.
Continuity catches changes.
Subtle shifts — weight, energy, appetite — only stand out when someone's been tracking them for years.
Faster decisions when something's wrong.
A vet with your pet's full history doesn't have to start from scratch on a sick visit.
Care that scales with age.
A puppy's needs are nothing like a senior cat's. Primary care adjusts as your pet does.
By life stage
Care that grows with your pet.

Puppies & Kittens
Visits every 3–4 weeks at first. Initial vaccine series, parasite prevention, spay/neuter planning, and nutrition guidance.

Adult Pets
One yearly wellness exam covers most of what an adult pet needs — vaccine boosters, heartworm screening, and a dental evaluation.

Senior Pets
Twice-yearly visits with bloodwork. Joint and mobility checks, cognitive screening, and pain management as needed.
When more is needed
All under one woof.
Primary care covers the routine stuff. When your pet needs more — a same-day sick visit, surgery, or urgent care — you don't need to go anywhere else. Sploot does it all, under one roof.

Common questions
Primary care, answered.
Do I need to commit to Sploot as my pet's regular vet to come in?
No commitment required. You're welcome to come in for a single visit — a wellness exam, a vaccine update, or a sick visit — and decide from there. Many of our regulars started with one appointment.
How do I send records from my old vet?
Call your previous vet and ask them to email your pet's full medical records to [email protected]. We recommend doing this a day or two before your first visit so your vet can review them beforehand.
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes. We don't bill insurance directly, but we'll provide a detailed itemized invoice — most major insurers (Trupanion, Healthy Paws, Embrace, Nationwide, ASPCA) reimburse you directly from that.
What payment options do you accept?
All major credit cards, debit, and CareCredit. For larger procedures, CareCredit financing lets you spread payments over 6–24 months. We also provide upfront estimates so there are no surprises.
How do I get same-day or after-hours guidance?
Call us during open hours (8am–8pm, every day) and we'll triage over the phone — most issues we can either book the same day or guide you to the right next step.
