Dr. Diana Neitz

Dr. Neitz’s Veterinary Journey

Dr. Diana Neitz graduated from Louisiana State University in 2008. Her journey into veterinary medicine began with a desire to better understand animal health so she could provide the best possible care for her own pets while helping other pet parents do the same. For Dr. Neitz, one of the most rewarding aspects of being a veterinarian is making a meaningful difference in the lives of furry companions and the people who love them. Her dedication to improving pets' well-being has also inspired her interest in complementary approaches to veterinary care. She is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) who enjoys combining her medical knowledge with compassionate, individualized patient care.

Dr. Neitz’s Career & Experience at Sploot

As an Associate Veterinarian at Sploot Veterinary Care in Colorado Springs, Dr. Neitz has special interests in veterinary acupuncture and integrative medicine. She enjoys exploring different approaches to supporting pets' health, comfort, and quality of life while helping pet parents make informed decisions. Dr. Neitz appreciates Sploot's extended hours and availability 365 days a year, which help make veterinary services more accessible to pet parents. She also values Sploot's commitment to modern veterinary technology, allowing the team to provide high-quality care using advanced medical tools and resources.

Since joining Sploot, Dr. Neitz has continued expanding her clinical skills while caring for a diverse range of patients and building meaningful connections with pet parents throughout the Colorado Springs community. As a Sploot client herself, she has also experienced the benefits of individualized veterinary care for her senior dog, particularly in supporting his comfort and quality of life as his needs change.

Outside of Work

Outside the clinic, Dr. Neitz loves spending time outdoors and exploring new places. Her favorite activities include hiking, biking, stand-up paddleboard yoga, and traveling. She also enjoys connecting with friends and staying involved in her local community. At home, Dr. Neitz is a devoted pet parent to Ruger, her beloved senior Miniature Pinscher. Ruger enjoys taking short walks along nearby Colorado trails and visiting with neighbors, making him a wonderful companion for Dr. Neitz's outdoor adventures.
