Dr. Carly Bristol

Dr. Bristol’s Veterinary Journey

Dr. Carly Bristol graduated from St. George's University in 2022. Her passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, inspired by a lifelong love for animals and a desire to work closely with them. From a young age, becoming a veterinarian was the career she envisioned for herself. Today, Dr. Bristol continues to follow that passion by providing thoughtful, compassionate veterinary care to pets and their families. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).

Dr. Bristol’s Career & Experience at Sploot

As an Associate Veterinarian at Sploot Veterinary Care in Denver, Dr. Bristol has a special interest in emergency and critical care medicine. She is passionate about helping animals that need timely medical attention and supporting pet parents as they navigate their pets' health concerns. Dr. Bristol appreciates Sploot's extended hours and availability 365 days a year, which help make veterinary services more accessible for pets and their families. She also values Sploot's Fear Free clinic environment, which is designed to help create a more comfortable veterinary experience for patients.

Her favorite part of working at Sploot is the emphasis on work-life balance, allowing veterinary professionals to pursue fulfilling careers while making time for their lives outside the clinic.

Outside of Work

During her free time, Dr. Bristol enjoys reading, watching movies and television shows, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. She also loves spending time at home with her two cats, Nala and Suki. Nala is a 5-year-old domestic shorthair who loves staying close to Dr. Bristol, often following her around like a shadow and cuddling with her at night. Suki, a 5-year-old domestic medium-haired cat, has a more reserved personality but is an expert at making biscuits!
